Soon after I made a post about how I use a Philips shaver for shaving my head, it stopped working. The warranty was 2 years but I had to ship it to them on my own expenses. Since the shaver itself costs 30$ and the shipping costs like 5$, I was thinking if it is worth the effort. Then I called the customer service and the customer care representative promptly took my shipping address and told me that they email me a prepaid shipping slip and that they will send a new unit once I sent them the old one.
I was already happy by this time that I don't have to spend any money to get it fixed. Since I was lil busy with other things I didn't immediately send the old shaver. But 2-3 days later it seems Philips already dispatched a replacement unit which I received today and also I sent the old one today.
I feel really happy when companies take care of their customers like this. It shows them that they care and also gets them free marketing like the one I am doing now with this post (Win-Win)
